Welcome to Trekkar.com!

We had the idea to share our experiences during our journeys with you. That encouraged us to create this page website where you can find pictures we took ourselves and some stories mainly from destinations around Argentina, but also from some other countries we visited. We usually travel with a backpack, camping in remote places, enjoying the activity we like the most: trekking. We are not professional climbers nor mountain guides. We are just two amateurs, nature fans, looking to get away from the noise of the city we live in, exploring the woods, the mountains or the jungles to experience them as close as possible. Sometimes a short story about a place can help us you to get a little more of information to make the final choice, or just to remember a journey we did in the past. Whatever your reason is to read these pages, we really hope you enjoy it!!
Karina and Darío.
